John Otto assures that the club Will Receive Written Waiver or Endorsement from NAMBA to exceed todays NAMBA NITRO Twin Class CID BEFORE the Race Sanaction. Or it will be forced to sanaction race by IMPBA So everyone @ the race site is Covered under current insurance. The MAIN Thing is to have INSURANCE & be within the Written Guide Lines of the Dec 2010 NAMBA Rule Book. No Use in any Club carring the responsibility of Having a race Knowing they are Not operating under Legal Written Rules. This being CID rules. NAMBA web site Does Not say it is ..JUST OK to run the Twin 101`s. It Says To Have Coverage....... You MUST Stay Within the Written Rules of the Rule Book as of Dec 2010. I would say this will Also be a Problem when the NEW 29.5 cc X 2 =59.0cc Gas Engines start showing up in the GAS TWIN Hydro. They will exceed the NAMBA Written cc rules & Not be Legal & Not be covered Under Current Insurance. Maybe NAMBA is trying to get all of these CID Changes Made???? But it is Not up to the Clubs to Decide untill the NAMBA Board does change the rules in writing.......... John says he will Get the Race Operating Legal So Come on Down to BRANDON & Lets Race & Bring Your TWIN... jw

Just to Clarify this this is a NAMBA sanctioned event and will be conducted under Namba Rules only. The twin rigger classes will follow the existing rules until Final Approval from Namba officials. The rule was voted into the district and has supposely been board approved but has to be finalized by membership, which is ballots sent out with newsletters in March Ballots due back by March31 most likely? We will be trying to get approval before, If it happens it does if not Run Legal. Very simple people when We travel to IMPBA events we adjust our set -up to accomadate your rules ,ie no quickdraws in sport hydros, (this one gonna hurt ya)pts instead of loss lap for buoy. Simply said Please come and enjoy our racing facility and competition level here in our house by our rules just as we come to your house and play by your rules,. SAME GAME GUYS! We are trying to possibly get approval before the race if not be legal or you will not be competing. KEYWORD:Insurance This is a issue that should anything occur above the parameters of the insurance will lead to numerous unpalettable conditions such as lake loss, club not getting sanctioned again, god forbidden accident maiming or causing personal damage to say the least with no insurance coverage sorry ain't happening We as a club are not going to take any risks with a premier county park pond thats been in existince for almost 20 years Sorry Again

Thank you Sincerely Steve H. Pres. of BMBI

THANKS Steve......

Bill with respect, there is nothing wrong with post 32. Joe simply stated that compliance with the rules is required. No issues here and it is clear to me that Nitro Twins with greater than 30cc combined engine displacement and Gas twins with greater than 53cc combined engine displacement are not covered by the NAMBA insurance. Thanks for the clarifications.

I'm just looking foward to a great Twin race. I don't really like the fact that the gas twins want to do there own shootout Instead of doing it like Charleston Sc the best 3 nitro twins vs the best 3 gas Twins But it is what it is let's get her done.
