New into the electrics. Looking to get a larger LiPo/LiFe charger. I do have one of the Hyperion chargers but it may not be enough now (EOS 0403i DC). Would also like one that plugs in (120V) too. What would be a good unit to get?

Hyperion also makes the 0606i but it has almost half the wattage output of the 0720i. Watts is the important number you have to watch for in the specs. Some chargers may be able to charge at 5 amps or charge a 6S pack. But if wattage is insufficient it wont be able to charge a 6S pack at 5 amps, Unfortunately AC/DC chargers are a little lacking in power, But if you are only running a P-Limited boat or two, a AC/DC charger should be sufficient.

I appreciate the info fellas. I am trying to absorb as much as of this possible, with the electrics.... Looking for decent equipment, don't ever want to buy junk. And sure don't want to spend too much time, on shore, waiting for batteries to charge.

Chris I agree with you that it's a waste of Money buy junk equipment.I've been involved with Fe for two years now and still learning tons of tips so take your time and look to what is running Strong with no issues.Gill

I have talked to a few of these guys in Seattle about the larger Scale boats. I believe they are the same as the Gas Scale boats. 1/7th scale or 1.666 actual. They are really scale looking but expensive. I have raced nitro for years, built a Gas Thunderboat about two years ago. That is really fun. Now I am looking at the electrics.... I'll have all three covered.
