Toledo sounds OK to me. I go there about once a year anyway to the R/C Mecca so I know the way. If not, I have a Toledo city map. I still have to find that restaurant that Jamie Farr made famous. I did find Jamie Farr Park by accident, what a dump!

I know my buddy in Evart most likely won't be able to do Toledo.. Where does not matter to Mary and I.. Well, ok, lets keep it to the Midwest at least.. Figuerd PJ would say "come on down to Texas!!"... :D

Mark...

OB Nut Racing....

I keep saying "Come on down to Texas!" Nobody wants to. There's all kinds of places to run down here.

Eric Perez runs with the Dallas crowd...the Round Rock club has a beautiful pond...if you prefer batteries, Conroe...

There's a dozen lakes an hour's drive from me here in Central Texas.

did a mtnbike race in tx once.... dang it was hot... the night wasn't bad tho, ;) course the water was also like bath water.... ne ways yeah it'd be cool to go meet ya pj, but i think it's a little farther than i can get at this point in time... or should we just say shoot, and give JD a visit ;) at least i know i can get plane tickets to seattle anytime i want ;D

-how come every time i goto KZoo sumpin happens to my ride?!?!?

It's not that bad.....we just had a cool front yesterday...temp plummeted to 96! (of course the humidity went up so the heat index was 108)

At least it put an end to the 13 day streak of 100+.

Propjockey Racing.....it's not even August yet! :-

ever listen to Bill Engvall??? he has a great bit on texas tempertures in august. course i think the race was in august... it was a nice trail... just HOT! maybe the gods of radioshack will decide to put my skills to good use and send me down there to visit ft worth someday ;D

-hmm maybe i should start calling myself Barefoot racing, haven't gone yet and kept the shoes on-

PJ.. Mary is wanting to go to different areas since the family doesn't come down to visit us much.. We've been doing 3 - 5 trips a year to Mich. while they do 1 every 3 years.. We may just take you up on the offer and come on down to Tx for a visit some day.. ;D Could be next year as my vacation days are coming to an end for this year...

Mark..

OB Nut Racing: Need to find someone in the Blue Grass to run with....

Mark and Mary...ANYTIME!!! Come on down! You are definitely welcome. (so is anyone else) Just gimme a 'heads up' a month or so in advance so I can get the time off.

Haven’t herd from Nitrotoys yet on running at his place in coldwater. That I think I could swing, Toledo might be a stretch unless I can convince the mother-in-law to have my boys sleep over & the wife & I go hang out for the weekend..... : :) That is a thought. Weekend get together & Dale & his wife show us the cool places to hang out!!! How about it Dale?

I know some great places to hang but the wives might not agree, ;)ill try to get a pic of the pond we can run at ,its deffenetly not as big as k-zoo but we run gas and nitro boats there.

WE could always hang at the local hobby store, and boat bench race,WE ran today ,wasent much fun i had a glow plug center fall apart and into the motor ??? never seen that before i havent taken t :'(he motor apart yet to see the damage. :'(

Sorry to hear about your boat dale... which one was it that you had problems with?

My white yamaha htb with a big dog 67 motor i took the motor apart and all looks fine,i got luckey i shut it down when i herd a funny sound and power droped off.i'd rather run my 7.5's anyway they allways run great,i only put it on because my friends run 67's ,i tear them up with my 7.5 's anyway51.4 mph they cant tuch it. :eek:The 67 is comming off and 7.5 is going on,now air cooled or water ??? cant make up my mind. : :)

Well Kzoo, or toledo sounds good to me.

I am open to go where ever, Just need to run more with you all again, Maybe Robin can join us this time.

as far as running in coldwater, most boats are out by then, May be ok to run there. Need to see how the weather is and how many are out. them big waves swallow up the little boats. Cant runn the tunnels there, to much wind on the lake and always too rough.

And Mark Let me know about that CD or what not, How much and shipping, will send some funds down your way if you need them.

Man, never thought burn'n DVD's would be such a PITA :p Swear, I've stuffed (LOL) about 8 disc trying to get this right.. Burn'd the first totally successful one last night.. Since my DVD burn'r can only do 2x, it takes about 6 hours to do the 4+ gb I have on file.

HHMMM.. yea, need some smaller waves as I'd like to get my 29" WOF out.. The Solution might handle the bigger waves though. Might even bring our Sport 40 this time. Haven't ran that boat in a year or so.

Dale, glad to hear the motor wasn't stuffed up!! :D

If we do K-zoo, or somewhere in that area, we can have free sitters for the kids. :D If Toledo, they will be with us... ;)

NT, I'll get back to you on the funds.. :-X

Mark...

OB Nut Racing: We do have other than OB's...

Well, my wife agreed to go the next time we get together, so I guess I will have to get me HH12 done by then. ;D

I think we should keep it in KZoo considering the babysitting for OB nut, it would be a too much for his young son to hang out at the lake for a day with all the nitro fumes & noise. I could be wrong though.

OB Nut, any luck with the DVD's?

Wade, if you can get Missy to show up, I shouldn't have any trouble getting Brenda there. They'll both have fun picking on me! I have to get the 7.5 mono finished and the bugs out of it then repaint the Speedmastr 21 again.

Yeah, we wouldn't want any children around the nitro boats, these things are addictive! ;D

Ron,

I agree, these nitro boats are VERY addictive! 8)

Wade,

Part of the DVD problem was the person trying to do the burn'n.. Since I'm a llama :p on PC's (I can run a mainframe to the ground!), didn't quite know how to do this with the software I have.. Finally fingered it out a few days back. ;) One problem was that I started from the begining of the process, which took the majority of the time.. :( Now, I just leave the 'project' active and burn the DVD's.. Now, it only takes 45 mins to burn a disc.. When I logoff here now, I'll do the last one.. They will be shipped out tomorrow... :D

Got a few things to do for the 11cc Solution. Think the shims I have will get me to where the clearence needs to be... :) Hopefully will do some testing tomorrow... ;) :D ;D

Mark..

OB Nut Racing: Learn'n to burn...

Boat mechanic and computer wiz.

Good to hear your getting the dvds done, but sorry to hear you had to start all over.

Hey i know this is nitro board.

And Nitro boats, but our next run, I may bring a gas boat. Need more room in car for all the boats.

i dont think its the nitro boats that are addicting, its the smell and the need for MORE speed.

NT

I know its nice to have kids there and into this hobby.

But this time, I would like to see LESS kids in the water while are running. I think if we all look back, that we were lucky no one got hurt. I mean boats screaming around, sharp props and rudders, and kids in the water. You never know when that radio is going to take a sh!t on you.

NT.
