The Nitro Winter Championships race Hosted by Brandon Model Boaters is up and ready for entries on RC Racing Events. Please sign up and contact me if you have any questions. Stay tuned for race /class sponsorship and T-shirt pre order opportunities after the holidays. This is an IMPBA sanctioned contest.

This is one of the premier events in RC Boat Racing. The race site is fantastic with outstanding sight lines from the drivers stand and the spectator viewing area. The list of past champions is impressive, and the competition is notable. I will say it again...you do not back into winning a championship at this event...you must earn it!

Merry Christmas to all and ask Santa for a trip to Florida the first full weekend of March. FYI the following weekend is the NAMBA sanctioned Twin Shootout race also hosted at the same location by the Brandon Model Boaters. I believe the event is or will soon be taking entries. I hope to see all my favorite competitors as well as new racers in March! Note: I'm still a hard working man, so if I do not answer right away be patient. I will absolutely call you back if you leave a message.

Respectfully,
Mark Grannis

Please review the two individual threads for T Shirts and Event & Class Sponsorship opportunities being posted soon. There is likely going ro be a minimum total volume for T Shirts this year. I'm negotiating this volume tomorrow. I had to personally purchase some extras last year...just glad they make me look damn fast when racing!

Darn, missed it by one day. We just got new tires on the car today.

Not that it will prevent me from racing but what is the $30.00 registration fee all about ? Does the 20.00 per class boat fee not provide enough money for the club ? Flamesuit on ....
Tom, I'm eager to have you compete at the Nitro Winter Championships as always. This is a unique event where revenue from the class entries provides the winner's gift certificates. Each Vendor, Supplier, Class Sponsors and Manufactures which support this event is made available to the winners to be selected in providing the merchandise covered by the gift certificates. To any hobby supporters, there is still time to get your services included

Saturday's lunch, the event's raffle ticket are covered by the registration fee along with all other expenses which have yet to be determined. Yes, some raffle prizes are gifted, and we are most grateful for those fine prizes; however, we have needed fillers in the past which end up needing to be purchased.

Do you recall before the first heat over the last two years this event has given away 8 Nitro engines & 8 Nitro pipes (even big block pipes). Not yet sure what is being gifted, but there will be something.

Feel free to come discuss further at the event if needed. How about we leave this thread open for the complete support of the event.
Respectfully,
Mark Grannis
