That doesn't sound like a bad idea to try. Just might work but I'm a little worried about melting the finish on the boat.

My work schedule has been really bad these last few months but if everything works out right, I'm going to our family cabin with a 35 acre lake in southern Indiana on tuesday. It sits in the middle of 500 acres with no other houses.

That sounds like an awesome place to run. Too bad it isn't in northern IN, my wife has relatives there.

Your boat almost looks too good to run it. It looks more like fine artwork than a RC boat. You do awesome work. No way are you severely out dated

Hey, I know where the Intlwaters "fun run" weekend can be!!! 500 acres is a lot of room to spread out on land, & 35 acres of water also give a lot of room for people to run!! Well Don, do you think you could talk your family into letting us all crash their property for a weekend??

It's about a half hour or so south of Terre Haute, IN close to Sullivan just off 41. Actually my father had several float plane fly in's down there before he died. It would be a perfect place for a boat in.

The biggest problem is my schedual this year. If it clears up I'll let you all know. Sure would be fun to get together.

P.S. You would have to make sure your boats float well. The water is approx 40ft deep where we would be running. ;D

Lake Site

Three beadroom, three bath, large family and kitchen area, shelter house approx 20X40, dock for about four racers pluss another dock since this photo that will hold about 10, and several pick up boats.

I'll do what I can in the future to get some of us together.

I think you're looking at the picture wrong. The little bright white square in the picture is the pad in front of the garage. The shelter house is up a little and left of the house and the small dock is above that. The actual house is just a nice ranch. I think a lot of what you're lokking at is mowed grass. Look closer! ;D
