Ever since an FE boat went 120 plus mph, there have been all kinds of discussions about what will be the fastest ever boat. The FE guys throw it at the nitro guys and the nitro guys throw it back.

As far as I am concerned, of all the boats we build, the Scale Unlimited is the only boat that looks like its real counterpart when it runs. All the way down to the water coming off the skid fin.

Some build them light for speed, but with five other boats on the water, a light boat doesnt always pay off. Heavier boats have shown that they can win also. Its in the setup. The scale unlimited is not a small boat and needs a pretty healthy powerplant. FE can now provide that.

I am really looking forward to seeing the scale unlimiteds run at the NAMBA FE Nats. The CZAR will be there. I hear that Paul P. has a good running scale as well as some others.

What really throws me is that for years, the CZAR has run the turbine Miss Bud when running nitro. Now he goes to the more quiet FE and he is running an old round nose. Go figure.

I was surprised that RCU would allow an FE to run their circuit. But how do you say no to the CZAR. Well......when he starts winning on a regular basis, thats when.

Al roger AKA "The Czar" has been running 1/10th scale electrics for years also.

A scale unlimited can be a small boat.

Here is my 1/16th scale Karelson 69 U-7. On 6 cells is weighs 2.25 pounds.

We are getting more interest in N1 Sport Scale – Lots of fun.

Jim,

Roger has been doing everything for years. That is why he is the CZAR. I like that they go the correct way around the course in electrics in Washington. I tried to convince others to try it down here in nitro. There were plenty of trees around. Thank goodness nobody had a rope.

Garry,

sorry for the missuse of words. When I refer to scale unlimited, I think of boats that fit within the APBA and NAMBA Master Hull Rosters. Habit I guess. ;)

Nice Kai boat you have. I have a nitro Kai. My favorite right after my Oberto.

See ya....
