Hey guys....

Interesting day at the HVMMC today. Andrew brought down a boat to race in the A Mono class (3.5cc Nitro). I actually raced it for him....and well! Did some eyes get opened up today. Andrew actually has video of the racing. This boat was competitive with this class, and for the full 5 laps od the race. We launched just before the end of pit time, did the complete course and then started the race. I am not sure of the specs, but I believe that it was a neu powered 18 cell boat.

A little work to do on the handling, but the pace was right up there, indeed I was actually passing people. We raced in 2 heats...the first it flipped after lap 4 and that was that. The second heat, I was dicing for the lead until the boat launcehed on the back straight and spun out...but back into it and we finished with a second. Looks like this boat will be getting a workout in this class for a while.

I know that I was impressed. Now we need to put together a rigger to equal B Hydro speed.

Yet another sponsored drive for me :)

did you get the video?

I found out about the glitch at the end. The flip and the second spin flexed the pack and cracked a solder joint, a little more support for the pack should prevent that happening again.

Andrew,

nope, not yet.... But it will be available for download when I get it.

Tony

could you post it here for all to see.

I am interested in it

ALso who where the other A mono guys that you were racing agianst?
