Speaking of the dates for the nationals, has sydney actually got a date for it yet? :unsure:

Im trying my best to get to the winter spec. OBT is getting a make over for that. Also i will be making VIC champs at this stage. I would like to see some of you guys up this way in the next 18-24months. We in sunny QLD are getting our **** together and things hopefully will happen and a oval racing event will be here, other than just electric.

But if failing that, get those electric ones up here next year, and come race, relax and enjoy the warm winter sun we have... LOL.

Nationals dates (6 - 10 may 09) were submitted to AMPBA for approval I believe - can't say for sure - I'm not on the committee any more.

I'd love to go to an oval race meeting in SE QLD. "Build it, and they will come"

Man you should have seen Sydney airport on Monday morning. It was crazy. They were all happy little vegemites though. I wasn't so happy - flight delayed by almost 2 hours.......... (The flying Kangaroo - My azz. More like the grounded kangaroo.)

No shortage of them in Melbourne waiting to fly to Sydney either. Plenty of accoustic guitars and flags etc. A happy bunch of people from what I could see / hear.

Mate most of us can't even make our local club meets let alone organising ourselves to travel interstate.

I wished I could have come down for more races, but my racing this year was always going to be limited.....

I was heading to BoB this year until some work comitments popped up... as it is im glad i put in for my time of for winterspec like a month ago coz the project im working on with Citi bank has blown out to go thrugh September now so if it wasnt for me already having time off i wouldnt be getting it... <_< <_<

Hey guys i found today that the center section of the tunnel on my ts2 has a bow in it..... could this be the bounce that i cant get rid of??

Sponsons are flat for the last 10' i just cant shake the bounce... :blink:

So far im up to 2, and that might soon be 3 by the end of the year.

Oh yeah, and they have to be working also.... :lol:

Well on a good note...

Im making 2 sorts of tunnel cowls now. So if you smash ones like the dumas one, let me know and i can get out made up in fibreglass. Plain white gelcoat finish. You guys do the final trim work to the cowl to get to fit. Not sure on price yet, but somewhere round the $80 mark. Stay tuned.

james, thanx for granting me "citizenship" :lol: . yeah, ALL i do is .21 tunnels, so 15 is also my total boat count. well, not completely true, i just bought a prather spitfire unbuilt kit. that's a rigger, but still an OB! don't have it yet, hope to see it next week. so i'm honest 'till then .
