Well this thread had dropped back a bit so I thought someone had better bring it back to the top again!

Some major progress on the WOF30 last night. It's now completely built and rigged, time to pull it apart again and prep it for paint. I've decided to just clear coat the tub to show that it's a "woody". MJ has kindly offered to have his painter do the cowl for me... Also thinking of putting a "Built by Intlwaters.com" sticker in the tunnel as it has been a real team effort building this thing! ;) ;) ;)

I have to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Greg (Gmorty) for the awesome transom spacer he made for me. Milled from a piece of alloy Billet - pushes the engine back 1 inch, and only weighs in at 40 grams.

If all goes to plan - the boat should have it's maiden voyage in February!

Hey Tim

Mate thought this myself ,this is a great thread for us Guys have to keep it going.

hey no problem with the spacer glad to help.

Cant wait to see this WOF go with that strange looking Thunder Tiger on it.

Im sure it will impress.

As we saw last week with steve,im sure we can get a few more Tunnels running around at Penrith.

Greg

You Sydney guys should make the trek up to the Hunter Valley for a club day, only two hours up the road.

Plenty of people, plenty of boats and plenty of "racing".

Quite a number of people from Sydney, Port Macquarie and up the Valley come to our race meets each month.

Grub

Grub

Not a bad idea,

if we can get us Tunnels guys to come up the same day would be fun for sure,

theres a plan

Greg

Grub,

Should we get the "interclub challenge" happening again? What do you think? I thought that was fun. Maybe, just maybe, the wompy revival might start happening at HVMMC.

Tim.

Well, first coat of clear went on yesterday and then my compressor decided it was time to die! Motor sounds like it's stalled? Any idea's anyone? I don't know jack about air compressors. It's an oil type, 2.0hp w/20 litre tank.
