Here is a first mockup of the T Shirt for the Upcoming Charleston Nitro Internats. Done by Roger Hooks, I bet it will really "Pop" in person when we get them printed. If anyone has an "in" on "all over t shirt printing" please let me know. It is important to keep the costs down.

Marty , you look great in that photo , the years have been kind !! Nice looking shirts !!!

I use Zubrick Screen Printing in Lake Havasu for our River Ranch Shirts .

So what classes are going for US1 so far? You have entries that are not on rcracingevents? LimitingUS1 to 8 boat minimum needed to pay the bills?

Namba members cant run US1? Where you come up with that? Rule says jut cant make records in time trials.

It is time for people to get serious about getting entered for this special IMPBA Internats. We REALLY need to get an idea of attendance to determine some of the things that we have planned for you.

We are also looking for a few more trophy sponsors for remaining classes. The classes that are not spoken for as of this time are: B, D, E, F Mono, E Hydro, E OB Tunnel. All the rest are spoken for and we appreciate that.

For those who are entered already, we are looking for some volunteers to head up a few areas. If you are interested in helping, let us know.

T Shirts are ready to be printed (Roger Hooks, Jr Design) and social events are being planned. We have 2 Manufacturers Parties planned and to be hosted by Stu Barr (Crapshooter Boats, CMB Engines) and another by John Otto (Performance Hobbies).

Dick Jones has some neat things planned as social events.

Our support crew is all in place and each co-cd is working on plans for their area.

Stu Barr has obtained over $5000 worth of prizes and climbing toward raffles, drawings, etc.

This Internats will ber one that is talked about for years to come - don't miss it !!!

If you have any questions about format, etc, don't hesitate to ask. It is a little different thatn what we have been used to over the past years. The format is the original format that was developed by IMPBA in the early 70's and used for many years to crown a true IMPBA US#1 Champion.

Get your entries in right away and help us plan for your enjoyment........

Yea this will be a great race for sure. The Ohio internats was a smaller turn out but we had really good racing. More local racers can show up for just two days of heat racing and be done, so you really dont have to be there all week.

Dont Worry Marty, the classes should fill up better, even with what you have now it looks like good racing.

Hopefully after the Atlanta spring race entries pick up, the more the better. Can't wait. ;)

Anymore entries? What classes are good for US1.
I have been told that there are more entries coming in during the next two weeks. May have to adjust the class minimum down to be able to run the classes. Will do everything we can to run all US-1 classes. All entries are posted on rcracingevents.com. We'll give it more time but the racers need to enter so that will not be an issue. Refunds for cancelled classes will be given. The specialty classes on Saturday may run more than 3 rounds. And the price of gas gas come down in the past week. In the Charleston area it is averaging $3.62 a gallon for regular unleaded. Get them in fellas and quickly, PLEASE.

Great, thanks

Please get your entries in right away so that we can finalize plans for you. We have a lot of really neat things ready for you, but need numbers to make final plans. PLEASE don't wait to get your entries in.....

I'm out for sure , work is stacked up for 4 weeks now thankfully . Appreciate all the efforts guys .

We'll miss you Tom. Everybody else please get those entries in soon.

I'm very excited it is finally MAY!!!! This format is the ultimate in all the forms of our racing. US1 victory is earned not gifted. The requirements are strong driving skills, a solid strategy for heat racing, oval expertise, and a set of fast passes all in one event. If that isn't enough, add knowledge of different setups to maximize each facet.

Two more weekends of testing then the packing begins. I CAN"T WAIT!!!

We are ready to order our T Shirts for the Internats and want to know how many people are interested in buying a shirt(s) even if you are not going to the race. The cost will be $20 except for the REALLY big ones which will be a couple dollars more. Roger Hooks, Jr designed them and they are super neat. These are shirts that anyone would be proud to wear. Please respond on this thread if you want to reserve your shirt(s) and sizes.

Here are the links to the images of the shirt. There will be one more thing on the shirts that is not shown. We have an event sponsor and the name will be on the shirt as well. AquaCraft

Don't delay on this as we have to order in the next couple days......

I might suggest that if you know someone that is going to the Internats, you make arrangements to have them pick them up and pay for them, to save you mailing costs.

Phil,

The largest size we are getting is XXL. If you need a XXXL I need to know that now so I can order it. It will be $20 and not $15. Premium sizes cost more. Let me know so I can place the order.
