Can someone explain "B-outboard tunnel" to me. I am a NAMBA member from Colorado but thinking about coming to this race.

Is it .21 size and can I run a pipe or is a stock situation?

Robert Holland

Robert,

It is the 3.5 (21) modified tunnel class, with pipe and all. Same as the NAMBA A modified tunnel class. The former stock class is now known as the Sport B Tunnel class in IMPBA..

in IPBA B Outboard Tunnel is basicly full mod engines and pipes and all.. Sport B Tunnel is just a Plain stock OS engine the outside appearance has to be stock like it comes from the factory

In Namba A mod Tunnel = IMPBA B Tunnel

Namba A Stock Tunnel = IMPBA Sport B Tunnel

Thanks for the reply.

Anyone know the altitude there. I would be coming from an elevation of 5,200' Too much of a change plays havoc on my set-ups.

B is a 21 size motor in impba but iam not shure. Wich class you can run a pipe but you will love the site there is 5 hotels that suround the lake and there our a few resturants with in walking distance Of the lake and hotels not to mention the drivers standand the pit area with the perminite starting tables please join us and have a good time with a good bunch of guys and gals

Robert

Get on Google Earth and enter Comfort Inn East, 8331 East Walnut Street, Evansville, IN for a picture of the lake. The owner of the lake also owns the Comfort Inn along with a few of the other Hotels in the area. If you zoom in on the lake you can see the buoys.

The award’s banquet will be at Sweet Water Events Center directly across the street form the Comfort Inn.

This is one site that the wifes and girl friends like to come to because the hotels are so close, that means they don’t have to use the Port-O-Jons and there is major shopping with in a few miles. Evansville also has a Riverboat Casino and Holiday World theme park, the home of 3 world class wooden coasters, is only about 40 miles from the lake.

We hope you can come and enjoy some Hoosier Hospitality and good racing.

Robert,

Last year (fall race) was my first visit to E-Ville. I was pleasantly surprised at this race site. What a great set up!! 2 Hotels within 200yards from the launch area, all trailers park accrost the street from the lake side, tarps & pit set ups are allowed lake side, great eats real close.... Just a great place, Mike Schindler & crew were very welcoming.

YOU will not be disappointed

I should join a District 14 club. The two big races I'll be attending this year are both in Indiana!

Hey Mike,

Just wanted to say I tried finding the flier for this Nitro Nats. I couldn't find it on the IMPBA website, so I looked on IW and after 3 pages of looking I noticed that you mention post 59 on page 4 is where to find the entry form. Just letting ya know its not very easy to find this flier...... If its on IMPBA website I am sorry I didnt see it in the master flier list.

Paul

Just a thought you could edit the first post of this thread to include the flier..... i didnt notice the fine print right away, for finding the entry form.

Robert.

If for some reason you happen to make it.. Count me in for any help you might need regarding pit area and ANYTHING else you might need!

We NEED more IMPBA/NAMBA crossing over!

Larry where are you? A new club The Water Wizards has formed in Hobart Indiana.

Mike,

Just kidding about the District 14 club. My career change sidelined racing with the local club I belong too, The Twin Cities Model Boat Club. I work weekends and only have a limited amount of days I can take off from work, and those will be used to attend the Nitro Nats and Hobart.
