Looks like the Seattle skies are clearing for this weekend’s Northwest Scale Hydroplane Championship Race. On Saturday we will start testing at 9:30, earlier if possible, with heat 1A at 11:00. We will be registering the racers just prior to the first heat so don’t think that it’s too late. We will be forgiving as to the appearance of the boats as we know that this is the end of a long season, although they do need to meet all safety requirements. If you need fuel or plugs let me and I will find what you need. I’m personally excited to see the new “Mini Thunder” class that will run on Sunday. We welcome all scale racers to come race with us so replace those tired bearings, charge those batteries, check out the fuel system and as Art Oberto would say “ Lets Go Racing ”

I can bring you a gallon of either 55 or 60% Mike. It's on me. Let me know if you can. If not, I'll throw it in the car anyway.

P.S. - Per my phone conversation just a few minutes ago, Bill's wife says 'the boys are coming' (the Brandt Boys) AWESOME!

Thanks for a fine race,Al and Marty were awesome. Great racing the Zcar almost did it,what a final dont want to ever be in one of those like that...... Will be back for sure.. Mike <aka 73 RedMan

DETAILS!!!Not that I have a favorite but I heard a 69' Pak won it :)
David Jensen won the race by being the last legal boat running(before being washed down and out) in a 7 boat final. There were two DQs, one two boat crash, and a boat that didn't start the race. It was definitely a wierd final.

Man that is a screwy final! Congrats DJ. What happened to Mini Czar and the Brandts? Were they part of the crash and DQs? Man I'm bummed I couldn't be there this year. I had it on the calendar and was going to drive up this time but I can't get out of this darn office for anything these days. I even tried to go fishing yesterday but where was I? In the office with football on the tube while I was working.
