Actually Im down to the one pic, thousand words thang,

I asked Mikie if he still has a backshot of his E- Ninja, Its "REAL" close to what I am shootin for, a small strut mount with a standoff out the side to hold the rudder, still wide open so far, problem is the small transom on my design, not much room at all.

Gene :D

Might have a backshot of mine somewhere, I'll have ta look.......

Hello Rodney,

It's so shinny it almost looks like a morse code machine
The strut, rudder and rudder bracket are stainless so a little bit of 600 grit shines them up pretty good.

are you using a teflon intercept tube from the strut to the stuffing tube?? It looks like bare teflon liner in the picture??
I'm using a teflon tube from the motor all the way to the strut. About an inch of the teflon is exposed at the strut for easy tuning. The black sleve is heat shrink tubing to smooth things out and make sure the tube stays put. I only use this type of setup on riggers, everything else gets straight brass stuffing tubes.

Gene and Paul, I got my Hughey hardware in today from Gary Preusse. Gary gave me a good price on it and Paul's picture will help me set it up properly. There is a little flexibility (width) in the setup but I'll have to do a little sharpening on the strut and rudder.

I'm waiting to see what Tom and Mike have up their sleeves for .12 hardware. It ought to be trick!

Hey Ron,

Sounds good, Yea I'm kinda doin the "Hide and Watch" thang too, Interesting stuff comin up fer sure!!!!

i've done all I can do.... the pressure is all on Grim now. yoo hoo.... Mike.... :p

Hey Ron,

The nice thing about the Hughey hardware is once you sharpen and polish it it never changes because it's stainless. My rudders can cut paper no problem, does a nasty job on the back of the hand too if your not carefull around them.

I'll be posting a pic of a Octura setup that would also be good for small riggers.

Paul.

Hey Paul,

Yeah I would like to see what your using from Octura too,

Thanks for the Hughey pic also,

Gene :D

Hi Mike,

Well, you did buy the .098 setup for your Ninja which at the power levels we run that's just to light. I used that same setup (6/8 cells) but for .130 cable and it works perfect.

Paul.
