Just to put things into perspective, I’m 6’ and 260lbs.

I’m actually looking at an onboard elec starter that is remotely operated. So you would set it in the water, point it in the right direction, then hit the button and go! It’s really kind of cool.So who's gonna launch it?![]()

Already on top of it.That one may need to be started in the water, if for no other reason than safety
I thought about a clutch but I’m leaning towards direct drive with remote starter. More scale!Or a clutch set up.![]()
Simple Walbro pulse pressure water pump, tap off one of the carb blocks, stupid easy. They only weigh a couple ounces and I've yet to see one fail.with a clutch.. you are going to need a water pump... SCREW THAT.. Electric start.. SWEET!
Is there even/ a class to run it in ?I thought about a clutch but I’m leaning towards direct drive with remote starter. More scale!
No, as far as I know it’s only the 2nd 5th scale cut out from ML Boat Works and the only one built. There’s a couple guys running some big elec scale hydros in Germany and I have seen a couple here in the US that are in different stages of being built but I haven’t seen any here running. Is there even/ a class to run it in ?
It's not all about racing! Is there even/ a class to run it in ?
I will probably have some kind of wagon or cart for it but I plan to put an elec starter that is controlled from the Tx to start it. We will set it in the water, point it in the right direction then get out of the way.I was thinking of a wagon bottom but with rails wide enough to hold the boat so U could push it in the water running . Then leave it in the water to bring it back out .
