Fellas, I'm at that point for more questions!

I haven't seen a recent post on what everyone's favorite lipo is for awhile when looking back in the posts so I figured start a new one. Of course this doesn't have to be specific to my application so feel free to post what you've found to be a good Lipo as of recent months/years. Watched Jet man Joes video several times and many more trying to wrap my head around this and think I have a decent understanding.

I'm about to buy some 4s Lipos I will be running in parallel and looking at the following....

SMC HCL-HP 5000-6000mah150c or 80c $7 dollar difference hard vs soft pack
-Weight range from 517-580 advertised

Roaring top 5000 70c or 80c $3 difference or jump up to the 100c for a little more $$ and save on weight around 500 grams

Turnigy Graphene 5000mah or 6000mah 75c These are heavy lipos and my research says heavy lipos aren't as good as advertised per Jetman and RCExplained

Let me know your thoughts and as always thanks for your input

While there is no replacement for new/fresh lipos; prop and boat should be the primary focus.

A bad boat setup can make good batteries look bad. However a good boat setup can can make average batteries look good.

All of the brand you have listed have or had good feedback at one point in time. Battery performance can vary by batches. Personally, I’ve had satisfactory performance from China Line Hobby. SMC is getting a lot of attention right now. If possible I would suggest staying away from hard cased lipos. The case retains battery heat and you can’t see any physical changes in the battery (puffing). Just my thoughts. Your mileage may vary.

Mike, I should have a great setup for boat.

What CNHL lipo are you using? The Black series or G plus? I looked but somehow came up with the others.

We have had good luck with SMC.
