If the tank lays on the flat side it looks as though the steering rods will really have to bend to reach the proper locations in the radio box. The instructions say it is normal for the rods to touch the tank but they will really have to bow around the tank. Is this correct?

I am working on a pico p5 and am not sure what direction the small hole in the conecting rod was facing. This would be the hole down by were the rod goes on the crakn pin. Any help?
