OS 21 XM hinge plate play question...

Hello,

Just had a quick question on the OS 21 OB XM marine. Was wondering how much play, if any there is suppose to at the hinge plate? I am building a new boat and my OS .21 has roughly 1/32 of play. It feels like a lot to me but not sure if this is normal or am I missing something. I reversed the mounting plate and double and triple checked that my nylon washers were still there on both ends and they are. Am I missing something or is this normal?

Actually, it is play between the mouting plate and the swivel pine. I have copied a link to the manual, maybe someone could check it out and see where exactly I am talking about.

There will be a bit of play. As long as you've confirmed that both nylon washers are there, don't worry about it.

Yes both nylon washers are in there and I have pulled the pin 3 times now and can't figure out what the cause of the play is?
