phmracing, has it been tested in a boat? :huh: im wondering how someone managed to get air to the carb when the relocator would put it in or close to the nose area of most cats/monos set up for heat racing. :unsure:

come again? great velocity? seems like it would have alot less velocity since it has to travel down a big ol tube to get into the cylinder.

any estimate of the speed? most days at my club, any 20 mono that can get around the course at decent speed without flipping all 3 heats gets at least 2nd.

ron, so you build a brass tube into the sponson? we will probably have to redo the sponsons, because [and according to matt they are exactly according to the plans] we ended up with an angled inside edge to the sponson and and a flat [90*] angle on the outside. i was at mike t's house working...

my opinion on superiors is sweet, about time. if they can afford to produce engines almost identical to zenoahs and possibly even better in quality and make a profit at half the price, that should say a lil somthin about zenoah! <_< they've been getting waay to high of a profit margin on each...

russel....i used a 1oz hopper to take care of bubbles in the tank, never had any problems with the setup. the hopper also helps if you need to correct the CG a little, cuz you can put it wherever you need to.
