Cant sell certain decals any more

Personal use is not likely to be an issue for any company. It is the commercial use of their logo that they get bothered about. Ask the folks you work for how they feel about the unauthorized use of their name or logo.

Cant sell certain decals any more

The concept here is doing it for profit, no matter how small. In the case I cited with Lockheed the way it was finally explained is that they are required to use a zero tolerance approach because if they let one person get away with it, then it makes them harder to go after the next one who may...

Well, I did say that it rarely goes in the favor of the modeler Glad you were an exception.

    Racing in Yuma, AZ

Yep, I forgot my freeways. It is I-8 in Yuma, but you can hook up with I-10 south of town to go north into Scottsdale. I-8 and I-10 intersect at Casa Grande. I-10 west from there takes you right into the Phoenix metropolitan area. You can go north on 95 out of Yuma to I-10 or take 85 north at...

Cant sell certain decals any more

This is nothing new. Companies get very protective of their logos. We as modelers take a very lax attitude about it and think that they will be happy with the "free" advertising. Not so. I just bought a Thunderboat with Harley Davidson all over it. I will try not to make a big deal out of it...

    Racing in Yuma, AZ

None that I have ever heard about. They have an RC airplane club but no boat clubs that I've heard about. Plus I do not recall having ever seen anyone from Yuma at a District 19 race. And a week in Yuma in July?? You can leave the sweater at home for sure!!!

    Las Vegas Hobby Shops ???

Go check out their local pond at Sunset Park (SE corner of Sunset and Eastern) just to the SE of the airport. If you are interested in airplanes they also have 2 great flying fields. One by the football stadium and one up in North Las Vegas.

    Andy Brown

As I kept being told, be patient. It took me several tries using email to finally get their attention, but once I did I got prompt service. Placed an order on Tuesday, had my parts on Friday. I never got through on the phone.

    Receiver batteries

To add to Greg's comments, here is a good FOQ that has some info on "forming charges": http://www.hangtimes.com/rcbattery_faq.html I charge new NiMHs at C/10 for 24 hours, then cycle at C/5. Lather, Rinse, Repeat until you get at least rated capacity. Most times I get it the first time...

    AAA 6V 1000mAh RECEIVER PAC

Sounds perfect. As long as the amp draw is fairly low then they are a great way to go. I did not mean to make it sound like they were a bad idea, just that people need to know the limitations so they do not get themselves in a bad situation. I've used AAA in some low draw situations where...

    AAA 6V 1000mAh RECEIVER PAC

Keep in mind that AAA cells regardless of their capacity perform very poorly under load. This is due to a fairly high internal impedance which will result is a fairly high voltage drop under load. They are also less tolerant of overcharging, etc. Just something to keep in mind. There is more to...

    2.4 FASST Antenna Wire

A couple of points: 1) - What Don said 2) - only the very end of the "antenna" wire is actually the antenna. It is the bare looking wire bit at the very end. The gray portion is simply small diameter coaxial cable that has nothing to do with the reception quality. It is only there to allow you...

Nope, knew exactly where the race was. I got on the Greyhound and was all set to go. Took a nap and woke up in Chatsworth. Took them all weekend to get me home!! The bus sucks.

    LiPo for receiver

Good example of the fact that you do NOT want to put water on this kind of fire. It will no do any good. The best you can do is use a good fire extinguisher or throw sand or dirt on it.
