Can Mr. Dunlap or someone else explain the difference between these two tunnels? Both have plans available through RCstore.com and I'm very interested in both, but would like some more info. on each. Thanks for your time and hope you have a wonderful day. :D

Ok... I'm no tunnel guy.......yet. :D

I believe the difference is the overall length....28" versus 30"

Hang in there Uncle Jerry should see this and you can get a answer from the man himself.

Good luck

Chris

The longer version is for those high powered mod motors, and the smaller one would be good for the high powered stock engine , High Powered meaning Newer engines.

Hope that helped! Jerry correct me if I'm wrong!

JD could answer this better.

He is asking what is the difference between the plans for the;

WOF 3.5

and the plans for the

WOF 28/30

I can only tell you that I would spend the money on the WOF 28/30 it is the newest of his designs for the 3.5 and would have improvements over the WOF 3.5 plans. I do not know what the differences are. If it were for a stock motor build the 28 and for a modified engine build the 30 off of the plans, good luck and welcome to the board.

The JD WOF 28/30 is the latest of my designs for 3.5 tunnel boats. It features an offset motor and the center section has less lift that the JD WOF 3.5 Tunnel. As others have stated, the 28" version works great with a stock motor and the 30" version handles mod 3.5s nicely.

Thanks gentlemen for your time and input. I guess I'll go with the WOF 28/30 and go stock. Again, thanks and glad to be part of this forum. Take care and hope its warm and dry where you are. :D
