Since the question was "what's a good hull?"....

Any of the tunnels currently built are "good". Light years better than the Midwest Klampon Kai's and the original Dumas square bow 20 tunnel. Someone said driver and set up is the key and that is the truth! Many of you are fairly new to this hobby. I can remember the days when there really was only one GOOD racing tunnel...a Lee Craft. (and that was the old style Lee) So, be glad there are so many to choose from and so many guys making them available.

And...reading between the lines here...it sounds like another one is coming. B)
Had an '85 40 size Lee Craft(God im gettin old!)tunnel/K&B 7.5 OB/Equializer pipe...Stock Motor, never even checked head clearance...WHAT A COMBO back in the day! Setting the boat up required no more than following the instructions. One of the most consistent turning, and handling boats ive ever owned to this day...plenty fast too! :)
