Just got thru with this project on the other side of Birmingham. Doc Turner says that I need to use it for making 21 head buttons. Had to place one of my guys in front of it to give it scale. I replace the old controls that make the feeds work with a PLC. It has 5 shifting motors on each head for gear selection. By shifting the motors this way or that you can get 24 steps of feed from 0.003" to 0.500" per one rotation of the table. This machine has a 120" table and is about 30 ft. tall with a 100hp motor to drive it.

That looks like one of the Check Mate boats that used to race back in the early and mid 70's
