Anyone know how many A Hydros and B Hydros are entered so far ?
Just run em in Open Mono-

Don said he's good for 50 boats in that class anyhow :p

Smile Don-

THATS a joke ........

Let's not forget what the reason for this race is -

HERB STEWART Memorial Race-

Lets make it well attended in his memory and have good times guys- period !!!!

Due to zero entries thus far, I have removed A Hydro from the race program. This allows another heat of Gas Sport Hydro which has had a higher demand for spots.

Guys, I am not tryig to sabotage the Hydro classes. NOBODY is entering them. I have to limit the event to a manageable size and the entries that have come in are the gas and electric classes in numbers that demand multiple heats.

I am leaving B Hydro for now, but it doesn't look good.

A Stock Tunnel has 4 spots left

A Mono has 5 spots left

A Mod Tunnel has 4 spots left

Gas Sport Hydro has 6 spots left for 2 heats

Sport 21 has 5 spots left

B Mono has 4 spots left

B Mod Tunnel needs 1 to make class

B Hydro needs 2 to make class

Open Mono is closed at two heats

RTR needs 1 to make class

Electric P Mono hs 2 spots left

Open Cat has 5 spots left for 2 heats

Electric OPC Tunnel is closed at 1 heat

Open Offshore has 5 spots left for 2 heats

Electric LS Hydro has 1 spot left

If the classes that are lacking entries to make the class come through, this will make 57 heats which is 3 more than I originally posted as my goal. I can live with that. 57 heats at average of 10 minutes = 570 minutes = 9.5 hours. Starting at 8, that put us at 5:30 finish without runoffs, announcement of results, issues with weather or equipment. Then the few of us that actually stay to put up the equipment have another hour or so to get this done.

I hope this information is helpful.

Gene's in, Donny...not.

Very cool- thanks for the update,

CANT WAIT B)

At least now when I get spanked I wont feel so bad about it

Well I thought my two cents might as well be here. I have a 60 and 90 rigger and a new membership to the TBMB, I went to sign up for the race on the 20th and saw no listing class for my rides. I know of another boater putting a 60 rigger back on the water that wanted to run but again no class. I can just hope that Oct race has a class to run in but then again I could just go hunting by then. Just my thoughts

I'm just trying to figure out how classes like RTR can be offered and not C Hydro or Open Hydro ??? These can be some of the most exciting and competitive classes out there . Even if they are offered as alternate classes they certainly will get some adrenalin flowing if other low attendance classes don't make the program . :(
I for one LOVE watching the twins run Tom , esp at Brandon- the lake size makes em look faster too ;)

You guys got bumped for F/E classes  Kidding....

But, we do still have Derby Mono- I mean Open Mono , thats always interesting to say the least

I still have not figured out with the class turnouts why we just dont split the nitro and gas boats, I started running the class because of the killer wars that you-tommy-gene-donny ect had in X-Mono , not to run in a 18 boat class of 75% gas boats- no offense to the gas crowd.

It was a different race (imho) thats all :)

And yes Bill, I agree , there needs to be a place for the entry level guy too-

but, ****

I would rather watch X-Hydro's run ANYDAY....

Ed, I will try and not give Moms new hotrod too bad a spankin,

Im just gonna have a hard time remembering WHICH yellow boat NOT to lap......

Andy
Andy, Ive been pittin for Tom in X-Hydro and X-Mono for years..got the gray hair to prove it...Twin engine hydros to me are the most exciting boats to watch in model boat racing..would love to have one...but they have to show up...i dont even remember the last time i saw a single engine 90 hydro run in X- hydro...wouldnt be great to see 8-10 X-hydros and 8-10 C-hydros show up at a race? But we all had start somwhere!! :)If i sound like a staunch advocate for the begineer or the poor guy, then i guess.. guilty as charged! :D See ya at brandon...(hope Toms still speakin to me after this!)

That will change. I know of at least 4 more 60s and four more "F" boats. Right now they are all getting ready for Hobart and or Charleston.

Almost ready - worked all weekend on it. Just need to finish hooking up the servo linkages and mount the pipe. First time in the water will be Saturday. New Andy Brown X450/3blade - Stock except slightly decupped - per Jerry.

Andy you coming out Saturday? Might need some of your input.

Rebuilt the .21 also. Sagging bad the last 2 races then died in the last heat at Tampa - bearings gone bad.

Should be back to speed for this race.

Ed

I also have a couple props you can try Ed.

Will run em out to you Sat am

We have an opening in Open Mono since I have been informed that Tom Foley is not coming. This class had been closed at 16 entries, so if someone wants in there is one spot left. You will need to let me know.

You even showing up Foley ??

Im gonna have that CD for ya-

Or I could just post it here B)

Andy

i guess the frustration for me anyway is that the classes are not listed so there fore have no possibility of being attended . At the Tampa race Marty pushed for C Hydro and we had a class and I for one dusted off my boat and now had a renewed interest in it . The Open Hydro class in Tampa also was well attended because it was offered . Anyway , not bitchin , I appreciate the hard work by the clubs putting on the races ..just the point of removing the class from the roster assures it will be dead and not entered .
Hey Tom. I entered B hydro and i guess it was just you and me, gene called and said you weren't going to run so there wasn't going to be a class at all. Iam like you frustrated and not sure what to think with the hydro classes. Talk to you sunday if you are still coming. Rich
