They military showed off today in downtown with a Joint Forces Drill - was pretty cool. They do it once a year on the downtown water front area.

I refuse to fight the crowd and have my own cool spot - Enjoy a quick rough draft of a short video/ gotta get the stills added and some fade

That's awesome. I've flown in that little "jump seat" on one of those "little birds", back when I was in the Army. Those 160th pilots are the cat's ass. Tremendous group of folks. I wish they had GoPro cameras back then. That was one helluva ride that I wish I could relive!

My unit jumped into Tampa (McDill?) for the SOCOM commander's change of command / airshow (mid 90s). It was a few months before I got there, but I heard it was awesome.

they have a thing called the trail of honor in Jackson ms every year about this time...has a bunch of tanks and navy seal boats with chain guns and 50;s all fireing blanks etc also a few medal of honor guys etc...great time and u get to meet some real hero's

Several years ago my buddy and I put on an R/C heli fun fly at our club field..we invited several organizations that had full size helis to come out to display their ships, including the Cleatwater FL. Coast Guard avaiton guys...didnt think they would come through being Govt and all...well lo and behold, what do i see on final to our club field but the Coasty version of a BHawk...i think they call'em SeaHawks! I had to run out to point to the pilot where to set down, and he signaled me to jump in the copter, AND proceeded to take me for a little SPIN around the field!! I have been up in TH-55s(H-300s civilian), Hughes 500s, a Jet Ranger, and an A-Star, but ive NEVER flown in anything as NOISY and VIOLENT as that HAWK! It felt like it was going to shake itself to pieces...had to talk to each other with headsets...what an INCREDIBLE experience that was!!!
