Roger Hooks Jr posted this on F/B and frankly I have read no more true words in some time- and they are ones that reflect my current state of mind towards RC boating in general at this point.

"What some people fail to realize is that there initial "Action" can completely eliminate the need for a "Re" Action. I was recently asked... "Roger how would you have "Reacted" if someone came at you like that" My reply.. "You saw it. They asked me the same question that they asked you but my answer was different than yours. There was no need for a "Re" Action because my initial "action" resolved the situation completely... before it even had a chance to grasp at a need for a "Re"-Action." You see... If you use kindness and consideration at the beginning you usually receive kindness and consideration in the end. In all of my life there are few times I found that to be otherwise. Live and Learn or Live making the same mistake over and over and over again."
