Congradulations guys. Thats smokin for a stock 20. Whens he gonna take the mod record.lol. How about Mr. Talley. Can we expect the oval record bumped up as well? Alright well great job. Looking forward to hearing some more times.Eric just called in his times from Valdosta and has posted two passes of:
3.839 & 3.832 seconds.
The new (unofficial) IMPBA 3.5cc 1/16th mile SAW Sport record is: 58.670 MPH
Glenn Quarles caught him on radar at over 61 mph but the wind kept him from being able to run thru the beams at that speed. Eric or Allen may post more info aboput the runs later for you guys that are wanting to keep up with this event.
The front is moving across our area (Alabama) right now. Hopefully we can leave here tomorrow and have some good weather conditions.
Sport classes are here to stay guys!
-Carl,
It figures it would be as I had to leave early Friday morning. Mother nature would not cut me any slack, watched the wind blow for the time I was there except for the few opportunities on Tuesday when it did let up enough to get the brand new boat dialed in. Our weather here at home went to hell way back in late October so I never got the chance to set it up before going to Valdosta. It was perfect all day long today. Records fell. I think eight in all. The forcast calls for light rain tomorrow but clearing Sunday and Monday.
-Carl,
Happy New Year to you to Jose'!Don,
Happy New Year. Have another "Corona".
I think I've had a million today. Fixing to switch here in a moment for the good ole DonQ.
JOSE
Too funny Todd. Yeah this is a mean one but I'll be fine, they got me on 1500mg of Amoxicillin a day for 10 days. The boat is definitely there now, just need the right water. Glad to help you out with your record, that smile on your face when you got it made it all worth it.Don, Sorry to hear about the infection , you sure it wasn't that girl you met at the Texas steak House??? Just kidding , it's New Years and I've had a few!! I bet it was all the wind we had in Valdosta, all that wind sucks!!!! Thank You for the speed secrets to help me with my record. You'll get the record at Elizabeth City. Stay on Preston about having the record trials this year!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR to ALL !!!!!!! Thanks Glenn and Jason for all your hard work at Speedweeks III Todd Anderson
Nope. He did not make it. I drove down to his shop on Wed. after getting rather bored watching the wind blow. :blink:Don
