Yeah, the course on the clip is very tiny, it is actually a course used back in the days for 3,5 outboard that did not have the speed we have today. For the B (7,5) and C (11-15) class we need a bigger course for sure.
The start is critical as all boats are launched from pontoon when the clock starts.

Joern,
Check out servos from promodeler.com, they should have servos that will survive your applications.

The new Noddcat 7,5 is getting closer to a launch. Still bits & bobs to do, but I’m getting there

I’ve been doing some testing with geared 3,5 lately. Have to say I’m very satisfied with the performance.
Gearbox is made to use car engines of any type, however I prefer OS engines when it comes to 3,5.

Yes 3.5cc geared outboard is the way to go faster using bigger hulls. I have very good opinon .

Hi:
I would like to know if this trim system would be effective...
I would like to try to make one similar...
Very good job, by the way
Yes, powertrim is very effective. However, to use it properly in a race you will need to be 100% on target when trimming in before a turn.
If you wanna use it for finding «the sweet spot» while testing it is very effective, boat is responding immediately exactly like the fullsize. Give it a try
