Somehow slow down go fast comes to mind - Just sayin
I love that line Mic, might have to borrow it!the GPS and Radar gun are nothing but "False Gods".
Mid 50's isnt easy to achieve. (in a .21 sport tunnel) I have a very hard time believing that a mid 50's boat can run tight to the water. Perhaps it can, but I havent seen it.
you ARE in for a treat, john. kp's stuff is stupid fast & stable in heat race conditions. it is both amazing & fun to watch him & race against him up here in d-12. don't be afraid to ask him questions, he is as helpful as anyone in this hobby, & a damn nice guy to boot .Mid 50's isnt easy to achieve. Nah, mod boat for me, not sport. However, some of the fastest and best tunnels are here in the mid-atlantic and southeast US, and they come to the tunnel champs and the fall nats each year, so we are blessed to see many of them twice a year. Sport B's that crack the 50's and the mods that are in the mid 50's and higher. It is a real treat to see. Kentley Porter is coming to the fall nats with his Sport B and he is the world record SAW champion and the 1/4 Oval champion for the class. Can't wait for what he has in store for us.
Grim - yep, many just using 50% and it can be done.

I have known KP since the very first day he came into the ODMBA club in about 1993. We had a lot of very good battles in 20 Hydro. Always helpful and a lot of fun for anyone.
