You'll get better results posting photos showing ANY little imperfections in boat, and pulling head off engine exposing piston top, cylinder wall, and head button.

I've been sitting here waiting on that per our conversation in PM.
Condition will determine what people will offer you... doesn't matter who's owned the boat.

Too many of us here have been bitten by people selling things. I don't trust anyone whom I've not done business with before...just is what it is.

Parts for CMB's are getting ridiculously expensive, and parts for the SGX are nearly unobtainium at this point... Andy's not punching those boats out like he used to, and I question whether or not he's building ANY boats at this point. I've been waiting on some cowls for a while.

Just tryin' to help you out, man...I'm still interested and haven't given up my spot in line, for the record.

Thank you...some detonation on that V5....looks like someone attempted to clean that and cylinder wall up.

IMO, $800 is high for what little photo detail given, so we'll pass at that price.

Agreed, Jeff...I've the same vintage 21 SGX that's won National Championships, Mark Grim built frt exh CMB 21....new GPX power for both....have wanted some SGX's for a long time....not the 2014 models I had hoped for, but close, with narrower boom spacing.
Yeah, pretty stoked, to say the least!
