I agree, it's amazing what the wrong adjective can do to perception!I am will never call my boat a toy again. I never felt so insulted then I did this weekend when I was told that all we do is run toy boats! I know we do not sit in theses things but come on a TOY? Maybe it is just me.

Yup. Before the boating bug latched onto me I was restoring vintage Corvettes. Whenever someone called & I was messin' with them my wife would tell the caller I'm in the shop working on my toys.nothing wrong with our boats being called toys. My 600+hp mustang outside is my toy too...

No matter what, these boats will always be perceived as toy store toys by "outsiders" ..... until they see one go!!
