what cant make the conversion that means my cruising speed is 134mph I think key word (CRUISING) Ive held her @ 120mph from Palm beach to Daytona and she never got over 195deg.

Idiot, the words should be "must not exceed"! "Must not succeed" would imply that it's not capable of doing 200kph.

after looking at it the sleave doesn't apear to be hardened steel as his page described

i looked up the properties of the pic then googled the file name

it came up with this web address

THe print is to proof its not fake the last 1 is the titanium piston being turned coolant hoses are turned out of the picture . titanium is a MFer to machine. the first pic is a S-7 sleeve NOT GROUNDED YET AND no ports yet.. to be truthful I dont know what would be better mill the ports first and then grind and hone or vise virca?

Maybe it's time to end this internet bar fight and move on to productive discussions. It's Sunday after all.

Gene you will find that no matter how much people get pissed off in this forum, it has a way of self-healing as well. With the type of equipment you have available, you could keep busy making toy boat parts. Most of the parts we run are specialized and many of us have purchased our own machines to make what is not available. It would be ashame to let this thread destroy what could be a great benefit to everyone.

I would encourage everyone to take off the gloves and move on. Gene I would reconsider Don's offer regarding the race in Atlanta. It's one of the best races of the year. The Internats will be in Evansville, Indiana which will also be a good show.

I wish I had my shop ready at the time you were selling the Emco. I would have liked to have it.

Xtremarine-- Your talents and abilities might be more appreciated at the Gas Boat forum. The gas boaters could use another source of steel sleeves and lower silicon pistons. Might be a better match? Try Jim's RC boat dock. If you can make S-7 parts, you might consider making K&B 7.5 Pro outboard crankshafts, maybe Picco 45 EXR Silver/bluehead cranks, Maybe MAC 21 buggy cranks? Rudy
