The bandit is running fine, must maybe just give a bit of negative pitch on the motor - bow is a bit high and with some wind, think it will flip. Asked this question before - What is a nice play around rough water boat, some poeple say the V`s are okay, must be nitro - I want names.
Hi Jaco,

Have you spoken with Gary yet in Kempton park yet ? You will be very impressed with the range of 'rough' water boats he has available. The beauty of buying from a local specialist is that you will then also have local support and parts back-up !

Don't get me wrong, you will always get great technical advice and know-how from the guys on this site, I have also benefitted from talking with them, but support your local specialist hobby shop, specially a guy like Gary who goes out of his way to carry most of the goodies we need !

Have fun !

Cheers,

Wennie.

Tried to phone Gary a couple of times, but he is always out of the shop. Am planning to go there on next Monday - just 130kays from my house. Looking for a V with a .21 motor.

Hi Jaco,

Yes he is kinda busy right now, he's moving into another shop.

Send him an e-mail, and tell him when you're planning to visit him and ask that he confirms that he will be there, and at what address.

Let me know when you've visited him and which boat you selected !

Cheers,

Wennie.

My bandit are standing for the last 3 weeks, been working a double nightshift - think the plastic are starting to rust from all the hybernation B) . Off on Monday and Tuesday - going to the city to another hobbyshop that Wennie told me about to check out the new 2009 arrowshark range. A few nice boats - go and check it out at http://www.arrowshark.com/home.php

What do you guys think - how will the 57" Fighter do on choppy water?

any 57" boat will handle rough water well,,for sure a cat... wow that thing is large,,, are you riding it??? or driving it???

Hey, were at that hobby shop, very nice oke. That 57" Fighter is mine - its big, long and beautifull, but will come in 2 months time. The other boat that im interested in is a V, about 800 - 850mm long, nice boat, they actually have a couple of guys running that with good results with a .28 nitro motor - Its called a knyght with a y not a i. Do u guys know something about it - can`t find anything on the net.
