I just got a call from Kentley Porter and the [2] remaining 1/3 mile 2 lap records also fell today to Kentley and the JAE.21G.....the wind blew all day but Kentley was able to get in three runs right at dark.

He started with the .28 motor and killed the "C" record. He then put the .21 motor in the boat.

The .21 motor that sagged yesterday evidently hurt itself yesterday and Kentley didn't know it until late this afternoon when he tried to run it again.

Right at dark he quickly thru a back-up motor into the boat and proceeded to lower the .21 record.

Kentley said his "B" motor is definitely faster than the "C" motor. He said he will put the "B" back together for another assault on the "B" record another day.. :)

Kentley and JAE now own all the IMPBA "B" & "C" 2 lap records...........GREAT JOB GUYS!!!

"B" hydro was 18.862......it is now 18.660

"C" hydro was 20.517......it is now 18.349

Just got of the phone to my buddy KP, congrats on the new records,

with an awesome boat, motor, propeller, combo and cant forget driver....lol ;)

thats smoken'....

regards Aaron

Well guys I just got in and got everything unloaded and decided to check in on I/W. As for the JAE boat it can be summed up in one single word- AWESOME! The combination of the JAE .21, the Oric Nova's, the rather cool Oz Spec prop hangin' on the back and the super tuning the KP laid on that little rocket set us up for a truly exciting weekend which more than made up for the "issue" I had. I really enjoyed being a part of this event and having the opportunity to help a good friend demolish a few records but the best was saved for last, getting dark ... nah I take that back ... it was dark and KP telling me on the last run that he couldn't see anything when I was behind him as his pit man. I'll let him share my reply to that if he wants to .... LOL!!!! GREAT JOB KENTLEY!!!!! B)

Congratulations Kentley.... Dedication and the work involved, is monumental for sure... thanks for the vid too.. as, watching/listening to it makes a guy drool.....

We had a little taste of the .21 boat here ( Ron's)... and I was seriously amazed at the boat's massive acceleration in the turns..... definitely interested in the feedback with the build, it looks to be a great boat.... mike

Kentley,

It sounds like the 1450's were hooked up today. :D

The ABC 1814 and 1816 work quite well also. :)

Our Nova 28 engine is running well (85MPH) with 1452's.

I hope someone is taking a video of the event, and next week

should be even better. Maybe I should hop on a plane next

weekend and see the record fall again. This is just a start

for the JAE boats and the new level that they will attain very

soon.

Great Set Up And Driving,

Mark Sholund

Wrong again Mark. I was not running the 18 series ABC props. I was running a new series of props that Aaron has had made of cobalt to his spec's. I was reluctant to try this prop due the geometry. However, I am glad I did. The boat handled like a dream at the speeds I am running and the prop never became unhooked. B)
