[We are still running the primitive fuel systems we were back when I first got an interest in this hobby in the mid 70s.

They work pretty good don't they !!
Pretty Good is NOT the best it could be.. Holly carbs work pretty good, but they don't provide a perfect fuel map across the board. Production Automobiles don't run carbs any longer. There is no big return on the time and money invested to develop a good fuel system for little boat engines so no one has gone down that path .....yet.
I'd concentrate on finishing 6 laps first !!!!!    sorry man ..had to do it !!!!

Your turn !!!! :)

Since there are so few people inthe engine business, there will not be a lot of development for our side of the hobby. The technology is there for fuel injection, just no one ot refine it. Rod Geraghty came up with a system several years ago which would work super well. Just no time for him to develop it. I have thought of trying to spend time doing it, but if you want to run boats there is not much time to devote to things like that. It will obsolete the carbs that we use now, IF someone finally does the development.

OUCH!

Remember that OS had their 160fx-fi motor

Electronic fuel injection for F3A flying.

I had one of these and man did it work perfectly.

Carl

just too expensive for the amount of motors sold.

Hope to see ya there!
