Stolen Boats

Alan: Really sorry to hear about your loss. Jack St.Clair from Jensen Beach,FL had is sport 40 and scale stolen from his carport some months ago. Everyone is still looking. Alan,

I'd be sick too if my boats were stolen. May the thieves rot in hell!

Hopefully someone here will turn up with some info soon.

There's a great group here,alot of us,and only one of him.You know there will be many eyes looking.

Guessing the thief isn't expecting soo... many eyes looking for him.

The more info you can post,the better.Serial #s are a big help and also any special markings on the motors.

I too was talking about a PITBULL to gaurd my shop. My brother suggested a heard of 25

Dang Alan.....Sorry to hear about your loss. I know how you feel. I lost a few thousand dollars worth of tools during Katrina but they can easily be replaced. Losing boats is another thing. Ugh!!

Alan, Sux a bunch man - I've been there several times...back in my younger years my brand new truck and audio gear were stolen - got the truck back but never the audio which was stolen from the truck a total of three times w/ an alarm !!! Talk about guts - know how you feel man, hopefully you get to see the boats again, will keep an eye out !!!

Guys here are some pic's of the boats that where took from the trailer.

All of the motors where MAC'S 21,45,67,84 The X-hydro had K-90's All of the boats had Namba #'s on them, some under the clear and some not.

Guys I am trying to list the pic's on a gallary but I have never done it before .

I too use the hitch lock that locks inside of the ball mount as well as to a lock on the release leaver of the hitch. It is hard to use a wheel lock on a duo axle trailer. When trailer is stored for the winter I also jack it off of its wheels and leep it on stands.

I too have had a stolen boat years ago when my car was stolen. Car was recovered yet still no boat 11 years and still looking. :angry: Never even got to run it

Hope they turn up soon .

We've dug up a few pics of Alan's boats and I have posted them on the District 9 website at www.namba9.net

Just a suggestion, but if you have an flea markets or swap meets near you it might be an idea to check there. Reason being is, if these jerks know what they have, they know we'll be looking here and on eBay and at hobby shops ans all the obvious places. They may be trying to off this stuff somewhere they think we may not be looking. When my stuff was snagged 2 years ago I don't think they actually knew what they had since there were a lot of trailer thefts in town at the time mine was ripped and my stuff never turned up.

Alan's was found withing 3 hours of it being ripped and it was empty. One of my cop buddies thinks that they knew what they were after and had help and a serious plan. They may also know that we are a small group where word travels fast so think off the normal beaten path for where they may be trying to unload.

We'll be watching here on the East Coast in case these dirt bags have the ability to move around. I will check out the WRAM show, especially the swap shop, comming up in February on the 24, 25, & 26th. I'm sure these thieves are reading everything that is posted here & on JRCBD. Good luck in getting your gear back.

I don't believe Allen's trailer wasn't locked. It seems that the lock wasn't enough to deter the thieves. It has me thinking of what to do for my trailer. Wheel locks sound good, and a car alarm tied into the electic brake system to also activate the brakes if it is set off. Bottom line, I got to call my insurance company and check on my coverage whether I'm home or on the road.

Alan; my boats are no where near the level that yours are but I have some extra's that you can use this season if you would like. Whether they are for you , Brenda, Ryan, or Allie.
