Got the cowling finished. The NACA duct is for engine cooling and the scoop is for cold air induction directly into the carb. The air exit is out the back.

I hope so on the new record!! Yeah this is strictly for Donna to use! My test pond is kinda hard to drive SAW boats on so she hasn't driven it yet, but she will do fine at Blue Lake!

Donna has run a bunch of passes over the record with her sport .12 hydro, but no backup for the record. Her fastest has been 86.372! She has several more 85+ passes! Trying hard to chase down the gremlins fir the backup!

Hi Tommy! No the lake is plently long for these small boats. I ran 103.8 with my rigger last year. The fastest speed on the lake is something around 114. The boat just has issues that prevented the backup passes.
