Speed Week II

Hi guys, just wanted to let you know that Jason and I have started making plans for the IMPBA Speed Week II. Dates look like Monday Dec 27-Sunday Jan 2. We are not sure if the days between Christmas and New Years will make for a good turn out or a bad one (although it can't get much worse than last year's ) but it seems like a good way to spend some of the Holiday season to us. We are thinking of setting up a 1/3 mile oval in addition to the SAW we have always offered if folks are interested. This time of the year should be absolutely great for record trial weather and we have a few ideas to make this much more fun and appealing (especially to non-record trial regulars) than other time trials B) .

So what am I gonna have to do to get you to show up!!! I'll tell you what, you show up to run a boat and I will cook you a hamburger/hotdog with all the fixens for lunch...FOR FREE. Now how can you beat a week (or even just a few days) at one of the best boat ponds in the States, plenty of running time AND a free lunch!

For anyone who hasnt been to a Race run by Glenn and Jason, you are missing out. I went to the January race a year and half ago, and it was an awesome event. These are the guys that talked the Hooters restaurant into letting us run a .12 mono in there pond off of the restaurant deck while we stuffed our faces..... Good times

Count me in Glenn, the .21 tunnel boats are due for a new record! h34r: h34r:
