Didn't know they had machined pistons avail. either??? Hmmm.

I think there was a thread about this same subject a while back.

The answer to your question is "I don't know" as I have not ever

taken the motor apart as it is still new in the box.

OK, for all of those who want to know, the piston (to my surprise)

IS a machined piece...not cast. But, the sleeve is still nickel plated.

I don't know anything about the chrome plated sleeves from the

factory, but, I think there was a topic started about this a while back.
