can't state any facts, but knowing kentley it was more than likely a nova rossi. aaron alberico may have done the mods. hull may have been a k-zam, kentley's own version of a jae style design.

Congrats to KP. I got to see it in person. Amazing. Aaron and Kentley work a lot together on their engines, and the KZAM is no where near the same as a JAE. Only similiarity is they are both riggers. Mike

mike, i agree kentley's boats aren't jae's at all. i've seen his early version .21 (been thoroughly whipped by it, too). i said jae style as in wider sponson spread than most traditional riggers, stepped sponsons, unlike a lot of traditional riggers, not sure if his .12 hull uses a ski, his .21 did, unlike some traditional riggers. not trying to say they are a jae, rather some similarities in styling. STYLE is not the same as DESIGN. kentley is a very talented boater, & spends A LOT of time testing HIS ideas, set ups & props. his record in the hobby speaks for itself. unwad your panties mike, i'm not trying to take anything away from kp, you misunderstood what i meant by style.......

Honest mistake Robin. Another computer related misread. I was just wanting everyone to know Kzam riggers are different since it is commonly mistaken as one! Sorry dude, Mike

Gods must look over that water... weather forecast has had some pretty high wind gusts for over there.

it's all good, mike ;) . talked to kentley last night, the engine was not done by aaron, but rather by another record holder here on iw  . i'm sure kp will fill in all the blanks after the saw trails, he's kinda busy right now. congrats to everyone down there on a great weekend so far!!! you & dick have done a killer job with your new tunnel design, i'm ready to test a nitro version. man, i still am having a hard time wrapping my mind around a .12/1.9 cc boat running over 90!! i want to say kp said he bumped the record up to just over 90, after the 88 mph record  ......
