Mark,
That is reason I asked. I am almost certain a LiFe 1800 pack will outlast a 2500 NiMh pack by maybe even two times.

These packs are rated in mah but it is tested differently than NiMh. You would think it is a load times time it draws that load and mah ratings are the same. They aren't and you cannot compare mah of packs of different chemistries.

If a 2500 nimh ever had enough then a 1800 cube would surely. Not sure if that size fits for you.

I have 1300 packs you could parallel to get a pack less than 3" long and have 2600 mah of LiFe. If 1800 cube will fit I would give that a try first. You may be surprised.

Everyone that tries these first time can't believe the difference.
Use the batteries all weekend one in each boat from Thursday till Sunday never charged one of them and was fine very surprised thank you very much Mark Simmons

Mark,
That is awesome. When you charge be sure to look at how many milliamps the charger puts back in the packs. This way you can judge how much of the packs capacity you are using. Best to leave a 50% safety net for your self when calculating until you get real familiar with the packs runtime in a particular boat.

The lithium packs have a lot of rules of use that NiMh and NiCd never had.
If you drain them to low they are ruined. The packs supposedly have a break in period of 20 cycles where best to stay at 80% capacity which I don't know if people do this or not as most don't even know. I really myself have never done that really even though I have read this about them. ???

Mark,
I do have chargers. They are $57 shipped. Get a picture for you soon. Plus you probably want a new 4mm banana to Futaba Universal J charge cable $4

Always be sure to balance charge every time.

Mode- LiFe balance mode,
Voltage- 2S (or 6.6volt total 3.3 volt per cell)
Charge rate- .5(1/2) amp

ONLY 2 of the LiFe 800 flat packs left.

SOLD OUT of 800/ I have 1300 flat and 1800 cube

Hello Mark,

Would like to purchase receiver pack and charger suitable for a 40 size nitro boat. With that said I can assure I have no idea how to size a pack. Please PM me and make recommendations and a price and a Paypal address to make payments.

Paul,
The pack itself will take way more charge rate than the 22 gauge wiring a receiver battery uses.
Because of the wiring and no need for a faster rate I recommend to just charge them at .5(1/2) amp / 500 ma and everything stays nice and cool and the lower charge rate is just that much safer.

They usually charge back up so quick the lower rate isn't slowing you down much on these lower capacity batteries we use.

did batteries ship

Mark,
Oh no !!!
Man I am so sorry. I do not know how I over looked you.

Yes I received payment and meant to go looking for your address which I see you posted here and I guess I got side tracked.

Please accept my apologies and I promise they will ship first thing in the morning. You'll have them Tuesday or Wednesday most likely only coming from Ocala, Fl.

Tracking,

Hello Daniel,

What would you need to know to make me up a battery pack for a FE boat?

Thanks,

Lee

Lee,
If you mean the main motor packs.
I am sorry I don't do main motor packs as there are just too many to try to stock for each particular setup.
