Chris,

Look into the JR digitals. Absolutely ZERO delay due to a glitch or power drop. We have a JR feild rep (Jeff Holsinger) fairly local to us here in Dayton, OH. At the Celina race two years ago, he showed it to me. He had it hooked up to a servo tester. He had me turn the knob from lock to lock while he unplugged the servo a nd plugged it back in repeatedly. Every time the plug went into the socket, the servo instantly began to respond to my movements. Somewhere in the 430 in/oz range, if memory serves well enough. He also told me it was about as water resistant as any analog on the market.

Thanks. Brad.

I have tried the Spectrum and it also works good. Same as the JR just there cheaper brand. Thy are made right across the street. The price is much better also.

Chris,

I saw some digitals take a bath yesterday at the pond and they worked the rest of the day after drying out the box. I'm finishing a new F/X mono this week and I'm going all Digi:

S9157 - Steering

S3050 - Throttle

S3156 - Fuel Valve

It's a mono so if it hits the bank I won’t be too heartbroken.

Well I had some bad luck yesterday I had a HS-755mg,HS-85MG and a HS-81 underwater for about 10-15min.

The only one that died was the HS-81.

I've always run Futaba servos. Several hitec servos I've used haven't worked well. The hitec HS 805 MG is my favorite twin steering servo. It's giant scale. Price: 40 bucks
