Don,

Good luck with the shoulder tune-up. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Happy Holidays

Good luck. Must be in the water first Dick now you. Or it could be that big ass twin. That would put Hammer in line for the next operation.. keep on the meds even if you think your too good to take em.....
I'm the one in the crew with all the bad habits, go figure.

Surgery went well but the recovery time will be longer than expected due to the extra work the doc had to do. Gonna be stuck in the Aircast sling for 6 weeks, then 8 -12 weeks of therapy and 80% strength recovery expected within 4 months with a full 100% recovery expected overall. Got some good meds and I'll say one thing in that when the nerve block wore off at 4 a.m. this morning it was OMG!! gimmee my drugs!!!! Thanks for all the well wishes on here, the e-mails and phone calls checkin' up on me, you guys rock!!!!

Good deal...glad things went well! Just sent an email to your neighbor (J.F.) asking how you were doing....

Rest up...get better....will talk at you soon!

Good luck on your recovery...you will never regret having it done....once mine healed I never knew it was injured...being a nurse my advise to you is stay on your pain meds on a regular schedule for the next few days...harder to get pain under control if you let meds wear off. And try to resist the temptation of getting on the internet under the influence of your pain meds....when you are more alert and read what you wrote it could be kind of funny! You will remain in my prayers....Merry Christmas! jj

Good advice!

Here's wishing you well my friend. I hope you mend strong and fast. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Glad the surgery went well Don. Take it easy and don't try to recover too fast. Merry Christmas to you!!

Checked on the Don yesterday. Just needs to get his pain medicine routine organized. I tried to get him to take the Twin down off of the wall to measure something but he didn't bite. He will be out of action for a while. I know this all too well. He still likes to talk on the phone..........keep those calls coming. It's always nice to hear from your friends when you are not able to do some of the things you love to do. We'll be healed up and ready for you guys next year.
