Guys...

I have a 47" gas seaducer that I have just finished building & test ran yesterday.

Speed was good, but with prop other than SD1, the boat rocks and rolls about. Speed is higher than with SD1 prop, so I would really like to use these other props if poss.

Also the boat always pulls to the right (need left rudder to track straight) with all props (including SD1).

Ideas???

Phil

I don't know much about the different props, but it sounds like it is chin-walking. Try reducing the lift on the prop (I don't even know how to do that :( ) as far as pulling to the right try twisting the strut slightly to the left. That will redirect the thrust to help straighten it out in the straights. (So I have read anyways)

I hope this helps a little

Try getting that prop real sharp, Your getting prop walk where it wants to push it to the right. I would lower the strut alittle and try that.

a sharp prop and if you want to take lift out of it, take about 3/32 from the root by the hub, to 0 at the tip.

are the rpms good in the turns?

Tom

Chine walking seems to be a problem with a lot of Seaducer's that I've seen run. I had this problem on an Areomarine Titan 21 and had to raise the srtut to get it to settle down. Taking care of one problem might help with the other.

Phil call Jarry Crowler like Mitch says, I Buddy has a Gas Seaducer, and was haveing the same problem as you...This was at our NAT,s Lucky Jerry was there, and with in a few min the boat was running like it was on rails..The man know his boats, and what needed to correct any problems.....
