Now i have a really small SPP pipe compared to that and it give me MASSIVE rpm compared to the TD-SPP pipe and i have to run a x440/3 andy brown prop. It goes well and i cannot wait to try the chopper...

Dave
That would be the SPP MS21 pipe, and yes - it has loads more rpm but less torque than the TD21. Well suited to a mono IMO. I wish I still had mine - I loaned it to someone as it wasn't so hot on my rigger, who's since loaned it to someone else...... and now that I have a boat that would suit it I don't have the pipe :(

Tim,

I have a few of them laying around as I did a lot of testing

on that pipe. RPM = SPEED. FYI, they work great on both set ups.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Ive got a OZ spec chopper coming.

Cannot wait to try it out on my mac powered 33inch mono.

I use to run a 42mm prop - think it was a 1742 but it had some work. Went well with a TD-SPP 21 pipe.

I can not find a pic of the TD-SPP pipe , any help?

Here's a pic of the very first one made - the prototype. My link There have been several different versions of the muffler section and most pipes out there are black in colour.

Mark S,

I much prefer the TD21 on my rigger. I couldn't get the same lap times with the MS. Even with loads suited to lots of rpm.

Here is a few pics of the SPP pipes that i have

From TOP TO BOTTOM

SPP - TD21H - as i said, ran a 42mm prop on mono with this pipe and worked a treat

SPP - no markings on this pipe - but RPM is off the chart compared to the TD21H

SPP - MP45H (45 pipe, maybe even a 67, ive not tried it yet. My AB parabolic on mac 45 works a treat so leaving it)

David,

Middle pipe is a MS-21 pipe.

Tim,

Did you run the pipe short enough? 7" works well.

finally got the 33 ducer running good today, my nova rossi did not like the k-pipe or the andy brown pipe, no rpm's, put a 3280 on it and started to adjust the strut for the shoboat chopper and it ran better every time today, a very small change in strut position can mean big differences in the way the boat runs. well let see if it keeps up with andy's boat in ct this month?. if you own a .21 seaducer this prop from shoboat is worth looking at

John,

Glad to hear i might have some competition down in CT next weekend! Ya that Andy Brown pipe can be real hard to get going, nothing wrong with the 3280. I haven't done any testing on my ducer since the last race in fear that my precious MAC might blow! I plan on doing alot more testing next spring when i freshen thing's up. Can't wait till race day.

Andrew
