I will not be able to make the SAW Time Trials, but I WILL be at the NAMBA Nats there in June.

A few SAMPLES of Don Maher's "Old Card Table" and I guarantee you that I can Bench Race as fast as anyone. :p :p :p

Good Luck Guys,

When you put some "apple pie" on the "old cardtable" you get a warm fuzzy feeling :p :p :p

Don :)

Tyler,

Sure hope you get that "4th" one done! The pictures of it just scream FAST!!!!

I got the new gas g/d rigger done, tested, broke, fixed, tested, broke, fixed

Keeping fingers crossed the "broke" is done! :p See ya at the races.

It's 96% done although I am borrowing the sponsons form the X. Its the **** cowl that is holding me up. I just didn't have enough time to trim the cowl Brian made for me. I am stuck in Detroit for two weeks right up till the event. We'll see. I'll send you some pics Don.

Tyler

Jack,

There were some fast passes, but no huge mph passes were run. I forgot to copy down the numbers, but off hand these are some of the one way speeds:

Mark Grim ran 128 mph in his X hydro

Scott Bouchie ran 123 mph in his X hydro

Tyler Garrard ran 119 mph in a S hydro

Mark Grim ran 105 mph in his GX-2 hydro

Don Maher ran 99.8 mph in his GX-1 Hydro

Jack G ran in the high 90's with his GX-1 or maybe GX-2 rigger

Brian Buass ran 74 mph in a P tunnel

Brian Buass ran ~83 mph in a N2 hydro

Brian Buass ran 78 mph in a P mono

Tyler Garrard ran 72 mph in N2 mono

Mark Ferrara ran in the high 70's with a Q mono

Darin Jordan ran 47 mph in a N1 hydro

Darin Jordan ran 34? mph in N1 crackerbox

Darin Jordan ran 35? mph in N1 mono

Eldon Bouchie ran 53 MPH in crackerbox

Eldon Bouchie ran in the mid 50's with a sport 40-1

There are more numbers to post which I'll try and get ahold of tonight.

Tyler,

Good memory, Man!

The N1 Mono speed was actually in the upper 36's. The Crackerbox was 28.xxx for an average of 27.775mph.

Also, Bill Oxidean ran a 47.xxx one-way pass in N1 Hydro as well... Neither of us could back it up at that time, however.

WHAT A BLAST this was! Looking forward to coming back.

Tyler, did you put your SAW cat on the back burner?

sure wish NAMBA had some record trials on this side of the country... G1 and GX1 Cat records just askin to get reset :(

Yeah, I stopped chasing the gas cat record a year or so ago after seeing a dragcat run 80 in Flint. I don't think my sprintcat would get over 77 without exetreme measures. I still have my FE conquest, but left that one at home this trip.
