Awesome video! I use to do engines for a friend I worked with who raced these 1/8 scale cars. The cars ran .21 size engines and had 2-speed transmissions and would turn 40K down the straights. And they only ran about 20% nitro fuel because fuel economy was important in the races. What really impressed me was the concentration the drivers had to have just to drive the cars..............amazing! Thanks for sharing, Tom!

What fun.. I raced 1/8 scale onroad for about 10 years. Truth is Russ here from AquaCraft use to be one of the best in the nation..

I was always top qualifyer and hardly ever won a main.. lol

Delta cars and Nova motors for me.

Grim, im sure i will get the spelling wrong, but i remember reading about guys like Ralph Burch, Artero Carbonell, and some others....i think he had a bad arm, but it sure didnt slow him down!
