Years ago I was looking through a Unlimited Hydroplane book of some sort. It wasn't mine I was borrowing it from someone for another paint project but I don't remember who. I saw this unlimited light boat called Roostertails. I like the paint scheme and thought a Phil Thomas Super Sport 45 with a Stealth cowl would make a good fit. I was wondering if anyone has seen this boat and if so... is there a resource for pictures somewhere?

If you're talking about the book called Roostertails 99' you borrowed it from me to do the graphics for Len's U-15 United Furniture Warehouse. Sure miss that book. I don't recall a UL called Roostertails in it.

Another good source of pictures for UL's is a program called "Thunder and Lights". I have a couple but I'm sorry to say your library card at this branch has been revoked :p

Here's a site with photos of Unlimiteds and UL's

I still have that one and I keep looking in it thinking that is where I saw it but it is not there. It was a very colorful boat. That is why I liked it.

As a matter of fact I am walking down stairs as I type to look at it again just to make sure... and nope. It's still not in here.

I will bring it to the next race Glenn. Will you be there?

Thanks but this isn't the boat I was looking for. The boat that I am looking for is the conventional pickle fork style (Although this boat is cool... I have never seen this before and may reference it later) I think it was red yellow and blue with an actual cartoon of a Rooster on it. I think it was a restaurant called Rooster Tails.

... So the search continues.
