Although the deadline for entries was not printed on thr race fliers, it is Wend May 14. That is just a month away.

Right now we have 28 boats entered from 10 drivers.

All drivers who enter 1/8 scale, and who score points in heat racing, names will go into a drawing for a new CMB 67 "GREENIE". Not a bad deal for a $20.00 entry fee.

The same is true for all Sport 40 and Sport 20 drivers, with prizes being a RC Marine SS45 and a RC Marine SS20. Also a ZipKit w/ cowl will be given away.

At the end of heat racing there will be a special race. The top 3 1/8 scales will compete against the top 3 round nose scales for the Joe Rood Cup.

Can and play, it will make Mikey a happy boy.

Race deadline is 3 weeks away.

Since this race will be run in shootout format, please make sure you put an alt freq on your entry form, if you are not using a DSM style radio system. I have received quite a few that were left blank.

Right now I only have one freq conflict and neither person gave a alt freq. For those of you who don't know what a shootout format is: In the first round heats will be set up at random. In the following rounds the heats will be set up by your total score. So top scoring boats will always run togeather.

Also, please write down the color, name, or other noticable marking of your boat. This info makes the race CD, corner judges, and pit bosses job alot easer.

ATTN RTR DRIVERS:

We will allow RTR-18 monos to enter the ready to run class, and if we receive enough RTR monos, 5 boats make a class, we will split them out into their own class. Please indicate what type of hull you will be running on the entry form, either Vegas style "3 pt hydro" or mono.

See topic title "District 14 RTR Class"

If you have any questions you can contact me at [email protected]. Please put SHOOTOUT in the subject line.

Thanks

Deadline is just over 2 weeks away.

Keep in mind that postage goes up on May 1st.

Remember to put boat colors and alt freqs on entry forms.

I've seen a lot of talk on IW about new scales in D14 and people that are coming, but I haven't seen their entries yet.

60 boats so far time is running out gitr dun

Entry deadline is May 14th.

Remember all 1/8 Scale drivers who score points names will go into a drawing for a new CMB "GREENIE". The same is ture for all Sport 40 drivers - A drawing for a new Phil Thomas SS45 hull. Also, for Sport 20 drivers - A drawing for a new Phil Thomas SS20 hull. Not a bad deal for a $20.00 entry fee. All other classes are $15.00/ boat.

This is the first race for the D-14 point series. Since all D-14 points races count for your total points, the more races you attend the better your chances of being a D-14 champion.

This race will be run in a shootout format, where the first round will be set-up at random and the following rounds will be set-up by points.

I have been taking care of freq conflicts as I find them. Right now I only have two unresolved conflicts. I have sent e-mails to the people involved, but have not received any responces. Thanks to those of you that have responded quickly. Freqs are set on a frist come first served basis. Alt freqs on your entries are a must.

Also, please put boat colors, names, or other noticeable markings on the entry froms. This will make the race CD's, corner judge's and pit boss's job alot easer and helps keep things moving.

Scores will be posted as soon as we can after your heats. The next rounds will be posted at the same time. So check the score board often.

If you have any questions please e-mail me at [email protected]
