If I remember correctly didn't someone have a bunch of tunnel boats stolen in the midwest somewhere a short time back?? Well there is an auction on Ebay for 4 boats, at least 3 of which were done by someone who races. They are high dollar boats, one has a NovaRossi 21 powerhead, another a CMB Evo 45 conversion powerhead & the 3rd is a K&B 45, all with pipes, etc. One even has a trick lower unit oiling system. The guy who listed this says he knows nothing about boats which is quite obvious when you read his description. Pass this around, maybe it's legit but it sure don't sound right..........

If i remember right it was at the motel 6, BY One of the record trial ponds.

Cant remember where, or who posted, but some tunnels were stolen.

97 props as well, that is a ton of gear!

Somebody will definitely recognize it if it is theirs!

None of the yellow fast props though :(

damn i would have bought them, turn around and sell half the stuff. then keep the rest for free

Hey Kevin! What are you going to do with all of those boats? Yup, izitbrokeyet? got 'em!

These boats were Matt and Dara Oneys.

They ran APBA in Oklahoma and surrounding states.

I know they ran some IMPBA but the last time I saw them was at the Nats in Moline Il.

This was a damned good buy that somebody got.All the Oneys equipment was first cabin.

It's funny/strange that this is the second time today that the Oney's name has come up in here. Over on the Races and Results page also under the Internats posting.

Can someone who knows them check to make sure the sale of that stuff is actually Legit and that they hadn't had their stuff stolen. That was a seriously low sell price for that sort of equipment.

If anyone has any concerns about the equipment I've just paid a guy named Don Brock for it. Technically now the equipment belongs to me so any inquirys by the police, the Oneys or The Oney's insurance carrier should be made to me directly. I can be contacted at (757) 646-0555.

now for the hard part.......waiting on delivery

Being an ebay deal:

I figure I'm not going to count any chickens until they hatch

Well it sounds like maybe the Oney's have gotten out of boating? That's too bad as they were both great people & I was fortunate enough to meet them both. :)

Maybe they're just not running o/b tunnels anymore.

Well at least that sweet deal was snagged by someone here, way to go Kev. :D

Yo Kev,

Should I Email ya my fall shopping list now, or wait a while  ;)

The tunnels appear to be HTB.

I dont know anything about the canard Hydro......looks like I'll get a Mystery motor outta that one :) -----I'm guessing OPS 80

Can anyone identify the canard Hydro?

Once I get all the stuff...I'll decide what I want to keep/run and I'll post a list of stuff for sale.....I'll also post info on the condition.

For now, it definitely looks like I'll have a pretty good supply of K&B outboard parts and some larger props for sale.

I'll probably Jinx the whole deal by talking about it......I'll post more once/if the equipment arrives :p

Cheeze Wiz, thats a good deal.. that carnard is pretty slick looking stuff  ok putting the cap back on the glue now... hope it is legit kev.

The 7.5 is an Aerotech, you'll love that one! I did see that it looks like that he modified the bottom with what looks like an aileron strip. It sure is a purty one! Yeah, the canard looks interesting. Maybe e-mail him and ask him some more questions seeing how you bought it, he ought to tell you more.
