I was thinking of making a run of piston & sleeve sets for the Picco 67EXR, 45EXR, MAC67 & 45. What is the interest level? These will be same quality (or better) then the stock parts.

What about a 100% compatible Picco line of engines with a titanium rod?

-Jason Pas
Jason, I think that we do need another line of engines. The Picco motors especialy the 45's were and are great. I would be vary supportive of the effort. I have about 3 or 4 new Picco 45,s left and would like more and especially P/S. also the 67 would be vary successful. Gary "DOC"
DOC, it is great to hear from you! I will keep you posted on the progress of this project.

I haven't seen or heard from you guys (Jason & Steve Pas) in along time and its nice to see your still around. Well you may not get alot of people posting on here but the interest is very high if you can deliver. As for what is needed, that would be what you listed and the 80 EXR, MAC 84 too. If you had them in stock today you would sell out before the

NEW YEAR. We are all waiting and hoping that someday somebody is going to come thru for us. Well you have my vote and a few others. Now come on down to Atlanta in April they run your favorite class TWINS!!! It would be great to see you guys their. Merry Christmas and Have a Happy New Year.

Hey Ralph, it is good hearing from you. Yes we have been out it for a while, but once a boater always a boater. I have been traveling alot for work in the past few years & just had a baby girl, so it maybe a while before I start showing up at races again.

I will be starting with a 67 size that will be 100% compatible with the Picco 67EXR, then the 45 and some form of a 90. I will also offer a full line of replacement parts for the MAC 84/67 & 45.

I will be running high volumes of each size per batch, so I should be able to keep the prices reasonable.

-Jason

Congratulations on your little girl. As a father of three I know about limited time, but if you can squeeze a day or two, you gotta come to Atlanta and see 24 TWINS going for 6 spots. Its alot like the Hydro Masters we attended way back when and you know how much fun that was. But if you cant I understand. I gotta tell you that I haven't seen much interest in any of the Picco 90 stuff at all. But whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated by us diehard Picco owners. Have a Happy New Year.

Jason:

Better yet come to Florida and race with us. It has been along time seeing you and Steve. Our club here in Tampa is talking about hosting a reace like the Masters. I bet that would get you interested.

Sure is good to hear that you are coming back.

Jason. Good to see there's a lot of interest. Just hope we don't have to wait for 3 or 4 years to get something in the end users hands like some other potential engine manufacturers promises we've seen. If you decide to move ahead, it would be better sooner than later. All the best.

Definitely not 3-4 years, maybe 3-4 months. The cases are being cast now, we are setting up the sleeve chroming & grinding equipment in the next 3 or 4 weeks. I should have prototypes in 8 weeks for dyno & durability testing.

Hi Jason I wonder that how much will you sell start price for piston/sleeve? $_____ thanks Allan

Hey Jason

Great to hear from you and congrats on the baby girl , it would be cool to see you at a race again even if only to just to hang out , both you and your brother are great people and are surely missed in this hobby.

Drag your brother out to London and you can race any one of my boats if you want.

As for the engine and parts you may not be able to build them fast enough many people are pissed with CMB for takiing advantage of the situation and would love to jump to something if available.

Take care.

Great to hear from you again.. been along time since i seen you and steve..

The piston and sleeves you are talking about.. are you going to be making the sleeves out of brass or alum?

any chance of making some custom stuff once you get rolling? I have some things i would like to try.

Hi Tim, good to hear from you and see you are still boating. Steve & I will definitely show up at a few races in 2008, even just to watch.

WOW, the response has been great, I am underway now with the 67/80 size, followed by the 45 and then a 90. Production engines and parts will be ready for sale in late April.

I will keep eveyone posted as things progress. Please let Steve or I know if you have any questions.

Hi Jason,

I would really be interested in P/L for a Mac .45 , are you saying that you may have them by the end of April? If so that would be awesome, First race of D4 Season is the first weekend of May. Regardless of when they are ready it is nice to know that someone is gonna make parts for them :)
